Fire Safety Stick is certified for use on the 5 major classes of fire:

Standard (Domestic)

These entry-level Fire Safety Sticks (Part numbers: FSS50 and FSS100) are designed for a wide range of domestic (non-commercial) applications, such as use in cars, homes, boats, caravans, and motorhomes. Each Fire Safety Stick comes with a single mounting clip, which is ideal for securing it to a wall or inside a cupboard at home. For most cars, the single mounting clip should suffice. However, if vehicles are exposed to more challenging terrains, additional clips are available for purchase to ensure secure installation.

For non-domestic environments, we strongly recommend the Utility version of the Fire Safety Stick. This model is particularly suited for rally cars, agricultural vehicles, and certain motorhomes. For commercial installations, the Fire Safety Stick PRO is the optimal choice, as it accommodates additional recommendations and requirements specific to professional settings.

Utility (a.ka. Agri-Packs), Non-domestic and Commercial Packs

The same Fire Safety Stick, but with additional features to improve its suitability for mounting in more rugged conditions. These features include two mounting clips, one of which is the standard free mounting clip provided with all Fire Safety Sticks. Additionally, the package includes an Anti-Tamper Tag, designed as a secure solution to prevent the loss of the essential striker needed for activation and operation.

This configuration is designed for use in commercial settings, where there can be additional guidelines or legislation.

Note: The FSS Pro is ideal for most commercial vehicles or for installation in non-domestic premises as a complementary measure alongside traditional fire extinguishers. It is not intended to replace traditional extinguishers in non-domestic premises, although this may be possible in certain circumstances if the installation is planned and managed correctly. The FSS Pro incorporates either 50 or 100 second discharge versions, specifically adapted with accessories to support best practices in non-domestic installations. These kits are offered in various configurations. A typical kit includes:

  • An additional clip, making a total of two mounting clips.
  • A tamper tag to secure the bottom striker cap.
  • A fire extinguisher sign, which may be a vinyl self-adhesive sticker or a rigid, “glow-in-the-dark” sign. The sign provides instructions on using the stick, highlights applicable fire classes, and includes QR codes for scanning further details on usage and recommended maintenance practices.
  • Writeable stickers on the handle and tamper tag to show installation date and inspection history
  • A free downloadable PDF of an example inspection log sheet to record inspection details and support maintenance documentation.

Accessories

Fire Extinguisher signs (for the Fire Safety Stick)

Custom-designed signs for both FSS50 and FSS100 models. Recommended for all non-domestic installations. These are available as either a self-adhesive vinyl sticker or a rigid photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) sign. Both types display the fire classifications certified for the FSS as well as clear instructions to activate for the user. There are additional QR codes to links to videos and further instructions on use and regular maintenance checks.

Fire Safety Stick Inspection Log

Available as a FREE pdf download as A4, the user or responsible person for a business can use this to record the regular maintenance inspections. This notes their own simple visual inspections to ensure the stick is all correct and ready to be used in an emergency. Depending on whether it is in a commercial environment, these records can be part of the BAFE recommended log if needed by authorities.

Every FSS comes with 1x FREE clip but why not order an extra one? Ideal when swapping the FSS between places or for extra security in vehicles.

The mounting clip is suitable to fit all models, including the FSS50 & FSS100.

Why would you need a Tamper Tag? The tamper tag is designed to secure items that could be lost due to handling or environmental factors. The tamper tag will, in this case, secure the striker cap to the handle of the Fire Safety Stick, which is essential for the operation and activation of the Fire Safety Stick.
